Read a biography...

I like my reading to be a combination of novels/stories and theology/christian living type books. Honestly, I am more drawn to the novel/story genre, and can race through a book of that type rather quickly, but I know that it is good for me and my spiritual growth to discipline myself and include sound theology/christian living books. While on vacation I read several books, but my favorite was a missionary biography (and I even read a Thomas Hardy book -shocking!). The fact that it was an amazing story and at the same time was feeding my soul with truths from Scripture compelled me to keep reading. In the end I felt refreshed and challenged. I've read biographies before, but somehow forget the impact they can have.
So tell me, what is your favorite Christian biography?

We are having such a wonderful time on vacation here in Florida.

We are making so many precious memories as a family -

many hours at the beach and playing board games with the kids...

laughing hard and eating ice cream...

lots and lots of reading...

We truly are blessed to be able to spend this time together.
