My day with the Doctor...
Apparently, the people in our apartment before us had cats.
This is causing quite a problem with my husbands allergies, so we decided to go to the doctor for help...
Today I'm spending quality time with the Rug Doctor. Hopefully he can help my husband feel better.
The gnome is just along for the ride...

Thursday thanksgiving...
Veggie Straws always have a glowing, angelic like appearance...
because they are heavenly.
I give this giant bag (1.25 lbs) about 3 days in our house.
"Sensible portions" - HA!
Just being thankful
for the little things.

July Reading...
We were on vacation and at camp in the month of July, which afforded me with much time to read. It was delightful! I began with...
The Woodlanders by Thomas Hardy
Of course I enjoyed it...it was written by Hardy!
Next I read a biography about Ronald Reagan which was in the house we stayed at on vacation. I can't remember the name of it, but it was full of pictures and an obviously biased viewpoint which was not surprising and still informative.
Third...
Jungle Pilot by Russell Hitt
Not the best written biography I've ever read, but the Lord was gracious and it was an incredible reminder about living a life sold out to Christ.
Fourth...
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon
VERY interesting...I picked it up at a thrift store before we left so I could have something to read on the plane home. I began reading at takeoff and finished when we landed...I couldn't put it down! The story is written in the first person perspective of a teen boy who has Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism...just read it. I cannot do it justice.

George Muller by Basil Miller
It's already August and I am not reading anything right now...AAAHHHH!!! I better go find a book!
Monday music...
I was only slightly aware of Patch the Pirate when I was a child.
In our house we listened to Psalty the Singing Songbook! This song was my favorite...

Holiday World...
I'm sitting on my couch with a fever and headache, remembering yesterday...
when I was feeling great and riding on body-bruising, spine-wrenching roller coasters!
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. The only photo have is of Stephen and Bryan on a relatively tame ride...
